Who we are

Kentucky’s chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture

The Kentucky Arborists’ Association is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization working for better tree care across the Commonwealth. We are the Kentucky chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture, and our purpose is straightforward: raise the standard of arboriculture practiced here, and help the people who do that work.

That means education, training and professional development for arborists at every stage, from the climber in their first season to the municipal forester managing a city canopy. It also means helping the public understand what good tree care looks like, and how to find someone qualified to do it.

Promoting healthy landscapes through sound arboricultural practices.
