The Kentucky Arborists’ Association is governed by its bylaws, which set out membership classes, the board of directors, officers, elections, committees, meetings and the process for amending the bylaws themselves.

KAA is a volunteer-driven chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture, serving commercial, municipal and utility arborists, educators, students and everyone responsible for Kentucky's trees.
